I am digging, literally digging to find out what trends are surfacing in this recent change in education. What are the issues that parents have with education? Are we as teachers meeting the needs or is there something missing? Is there a direct link between parental involvement and student success? I have been in education for over 25 years, which has changed in many ways. I see education rafting ebbs and flows and trying to keep itself afloat.

I started this blog to discuss some of those issues. I want this to be an interactive blog and open my eyes to your concerns. What do you want to talk about? What insight can you provide? Venting is allowed but in positive ways. Any negative bashing will be deleted. Open conversation is practical when viewpoints can be stated and discussed without blame and unacceptance.
